Kristin Fisher has joined CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent team on July 20, 2021. In her role as Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she is responsible to cover everything ranging from NASA and its newly created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the growth and advent of space tourism. Kristin is the daughter of two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up working in space, and covered the Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. In that time she covered the presidential 2020 campaign, the impeachment trial and two attempts to prevent the corona virus pandemic, in addition to two distinct administrations' efforts. Kristin travelled frequently, and both with the president and vice president. She was even on an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan along with Donald Trump.
